STREAM SEDIMENT SAMPLING AND ASSAYS

First phase

During the first campain of stream sediments 67 samples were collected randomly and only 07 samples yielded visible gold in the heavy fration (pan concentrated). Au contents vary from Detection limit to 18,1 ppm

Second phase

The second phase of stream sediment sampling were a follow-up of the first phase and systematic sampling, with more attention paid to the heavy minerals. 314 samples collected, 30 samples yielded visible gold in the pan concentrated, and 131 samples contain Nb-Ta Rutile (particular minerals) ; Geochemical data are pending.

 

2)    SOIL SAMPLING

Regional soil

464 soil samples were collected within 2 soil grids (50m x 200m), Au anomalies in soil are significant, up to 2160 ppb Au in soil and Ag up to 237 ppb

 

Road cut (Mega trenches)

3)   GEOLOGICAL MAPPING

Detailed geological mapping was done based on grid lines spacing 100m
